Situated in the Parc Naturel Régional des Grands Causses, the Hermitage St Pierre is the ideal gateway for numerous excursions.
Remarkable natural landscapes of the passes of La Dourbie, the Tarn and the Jonte.

Wide open space of Causses :

The Hermitage Saint Pierre is situated at the foot of the Causse du Larzac Noir. After walking 30 minutes, 400 meters above the level of the Priory, you will find yourself on the plateau with a breathtaking view and numerous long hiking trails (GR)

Trout fishing in the Dourbie River:

The Hermitage Saint Pierre offers its hosts a 1st category private fly fishing running 600 meters long in the Dourbie river. The spot is no-kill.

Above Millau, 20km from the Hermitage, you will find an exceptional paragliding spot.
You will find a via ferrata above the valley with a view over the famous viaduct de Millau.
You can canoe down the Dourbie or the Tarn. Not far, in the foothills of the Aigoual Mount, gateway to the Cevennes, you may practice rafting if you wish.

For nature lovers and fans of open-air activities with an unforgettable tourism experience. Or, you can just walk along the shady banks of the river until the old shepherd’s house or enjoy the patios and the swimming pool with the restful view over the wooded valley and the Dourbie.

The roman Chapel of the Hermitage Saint Pierre de Revens is ready to welcome you. When the night comes, you will also be dazzled by the myriad of stars in the sky, which you can ideally contemplate, far away from any pollution of city lights.
